Peer Academics carries no advertising and accepts no sponsored content. There is nothing to declare about advertisers because there are none, and no part of the journal is for sale.
In particular, the journal does not:
- display advertising of any kind on its website, on an article page, inside an article file, or in any message it sends;
- publish sponsored articles, advertorials, promotional supplements, or any content paid for or placed by a third party;
- accept payment, goods, or services in return for publishing, reviewing, commissioning, or promoting an article;
- sell reprints, offer paid promotion of published work, or take payment for a press release;
- commission a special issue, a section, or a themed collection on behalf of a sponsor; see Special Issues.
The journal's costs are met by the Publisher, Asociația Societatea Studenților din Uniunea Europeană (EUSS), a Romanian non-profit association. Authors and readers are charged nothing at any stage; see Article Processing Charges. Because no commercial relationship exists, no advertiser, sponsor, or buyer can influence what is published, and editors have nothing of the kind to declare. Research funding disclosed by authors in their Declarations is a different matter and is published with the article; a funder of the research has no relationship with the journal.
If anyone offers to advertise in Peer Academics, to sponsor an issue, or to place content in it, the offer is declined. If anyone sells advertising, sponsorship, or publication in the journal's name, or invoices you for any of these, do not pay, and report it to [email protected].
Should this position ever change, the change would be published on this page before it took effect. Any sponsored item would be labeled as such on the item itself, would be excluded from the peer-reviewed content of the journal, and would give the sponsor no influence over editorial decisions, which remain with the editors under Editorial Independence.
